Somfy joined the Zigbee board in September 2016 as a stepping stone to Thread. Our aim is to let people benefit from the most widespread technologies and those that are most appropriate for our devices. That’s why we decided to join Zigbee.

Zigbee has been chosen by many leading companies in the home automation industry. Examples: Comcast, Amazon, Samsung SmartThings, Ikea, Phillips Hue, Logitech/Harmony, GE, etc.
