What’s the difference between RTS and io-homecontrol®?
- Communication Technology: RTS uses one-way communication. This means that the transmitter (e.g., a remote control) sends a signal to the receiver (the motor), but the receiver cannot communicate back.
- Programming: The system is generally simpler to program and install.
- Communication Technology: IO uses bidirectional communication. This means that both the transmitter and the receiver can send information to each other. This allows the user to receive feedback on the status of the motor (e.g., whether it is fully up or down).
- Functionality: IO systems often offer more advanced features, such as timers and integration with home automation systems.
